CUROSO TABLE LAMP

The Curoso lamp is the result of my exploration into the deformation of aluminum. Through a atypical technique, the cast aluminum takes on a "wavy" form and by polishing this afterwards it creates distinctive tactile quality and an intriguing dialogue with light. The subtle distortion of reality inspired me to name this series after an alter ego of one of my great heroes, Jimi Hendrix's Mr. Paul Curoso.
